Chirag co-starred Mohini, Aruna Irani, Mohnish Bahl, Mohan Joshi, Prem Chopra, Johny Lever, and Satish Kaushik. The music was by Rajesh Roshan, the producer was A. Saptrishi Films, and the director was T. Rama Rao. A song from Rishi Kapoor's unreleased film Chirag, was later used in the film Khopdi - The Skull. The song was "Ek Main Ek Tu Beech Mein Jaadu".
